Don't use apps when the web will suffice!
Apps allow much more thorough penetration of your phone data, location, camera, etc.
(This assumes well-made websites with https: turned 'on' of course!)
The corollary tip is to find out how to delete all the cookie/web-related data on your phone and do it frequently. I usually do this more than once a day. You could make it a "first thing in the morning" thing like brushing your teeth. Actually there's a lot of similarity between purging tracking data and dental hygiene!
After all the lies (lookin' at you /#Meta!) I do not trust ANY declaration of "your data is safe with us". It ain't!
I have a "Distrust & Verify" stance for the sites/apps I actually use.

kann und sollte man zumindest nur fr die erlaubt haben, wo es Sinn macht. Und dann idealerweise nur "bei Verwendung" und nicht "immer". Aber dann muss man sich halt auch konsequent angewhnen, dass man Apps, die man grade nicht mehr nutzt auch mal zu schliessen/zu beenden!
Ansonsten habe ich mglichst viel im Keim erstickt und erscheine danke ich in keinem Mobilfunknetz aktiv unterwegs zu sein, sondern immer irgendwo in Helsinki zu sein (das erkennt man auch wunderbar daran, dass z.B. Google einem bevorzugt finnische Dinge prsentiert )
