note: It is good to check the address bar of the video first. If there are no "si" or "pp" parameters in the url, proceed. When navigating youtube, the tracking params will not be in the address bar, since they are generated on the fly when using the share feature. however, they CAN be in the address bar if you clicked someone else's link that already contained tracking.
I would say this method is very safe though.
problematic way on Desktop (will contain tracking params): clicking the share button of the video will provide a link that can be copied, but this link will always include a tracking parameter. (see attached screenshot)
note: the share feature can be handy when adding a timestamp. in this case either manually remove the "si" param (which can be confusing to non-tech folks), or just stop using timestamps and tell people where to jump convenience always comes at a price which is as usual: privacy

So, I've managed to reduce my Pixel 9 with Graphene OS to the absolute minimum of necessary apps! Fewer apps, less battery consumption, less tracking.
I also deactivated all connections except for mobile communications, i.e. no NFC, no Bluetooth, no GPS, no permissions for the camera.
Now that I'm always sitting in front of my computer at home and have my ThinkPad with me when I'm out and about, I don't need a mail app, cloud connection or whatever on my smartphone, for example. I don't even take photos with it anymore, but unfortunately you can't deactivate/uninstall the Graphene OS camera app - for whatever reason.

Ich habe gerade noch einmal zur Sicherheit nachgeschaut, aber nein - ich habe kein wirklich aktives Google-Konto mehr.
Mein damaliges Hauptkonto ist zwar noch mehr oder weniger aktiv, das heit, dass ich es zwar noch nicht gelscht habe und eventuell noch eingehende E-Mails weiterleitet, aber ansonsten unbenutzt und ohne irgendwelche Daten.
Google kann also noch mit eventuellen Spam-E-Mails seien KI trainieren, aber das war es dann wohl auch
