But because it otherwise works as usual, this doesn't bother me. Because if not by the DNS, I would have blocked it.
This "oh, we have to know everything, otherwise nothing will work" is not only a lie, but also a terrible plague.
In einem der letzten Updates der -App wurde von offenbar ein neues eingebaut. Da aber dessen Zugriff auf "intake-analytics.wikimedia.org" bereits vom konfigurierten DNS-Dienst blockiert wird, dreht sich die App beim Start einen Wolf und zeigt nichts an. Weil sie aber ansonsten wie gewohnt funktioniert, strt mich das nicht. Denn wenn nicht schon beim DNS, htte ich sie blockiert.
Dieses "oh, wir mssen alles wissen, sonst funktioniert nichts", ist ja nicht nur eine Lge, sondern auch eine schlimme Seuche.
